 Dolly and TedValerie Fleet from Sandbach, who teaches year four pupils at a local school has written her first book, "Dolly and Ted", based on her childhood experiences working on a busy lock with her uncle Ted. It follows the adventures of 10-year-old Dolly, a pet name given to Mrs Fleet by her lock keeper uncle, and her summers spent with him and her aunt Sal working a lock at the junction of the River Weaver and the MSC.
